Speed up Windows Startup
After the booting process is completed, the machine will not be available for use until windows starts all the required processes and applications. These applications also include various ‘unnecessary’ ones which may not be useful. Many applications set themselves to start each time Windows starts (these may not necessarily be rogue programs, ex. Yahoo Messenger). Disabling the auto-startup of such applications will speed up the start up process.
Follow these steps.
- Open RUN box and hit ‘msconfig’ to open the configuration window
- Select the ’startup’ tab
- From the list of applications, uncheck all the applications you do not want to start each time windows starts. If you are not sure about any application, better leave it to auto-start
- Click OK and the changes will come into effect the next time Windows boots

Yes, you are correct. But everytime we restart machine.. one dialog box pops up and we have to do this above mentioned thing everytime.
Is there any permanent solution to set this thing?
You are correct. But this is not the permanent solution. Everytime you login/restart machine - it will ask you to do it again.
Is there any solution that - you have to do it once and it will not ask us to set again and again?
thanks!
